Steve Yee
Steve has danced tango for 14 years and has performed and taught for the past 5 years. He has studied with Toronto teachers: Ruben Bustamante & Sandra Rocha; Bryant Lopez and Faye Lavin; and Fabian Belmonte & Roxana Callegari. Outside of Canada he has had Tango experience in the Unites States, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Shangha, Thailand, Taipei; and the birthplaces of tango, Argentina and Uruguay. Performances include: Tango Festival, Toronto; Taste of the Danforth, Toronto; CNE, Toronto; Argentinean Week, Winnipeg; tango performance, Harbourfront, Toronto. Film credits: “Por Amor de Tango: A Film about Tango Improvisation.”
Marilena Stalteri
She has been dancing tango since 2004. Her teachers include Regina Salman, Victor Hugo, Miguel Coppini, Barry and Lydia Byrne, Marisa Galindo, Romero and Elina Roldan, Hector Falcon, Susana Miller, Graziela Gonzalez, and Enriqueta Kleinman. In 2005, Marilena travelled to Buenos Aires to study with Maria Plazaola and the late Carlos Gavito. She has been teaching and performing for 3 years. Some performances include the Hamilton Tango Festival, and Taste of the Danforth. As an instructor she focuses on connection and gracefulness.
